GT tuning for Jaguar AJ6 3.2-4.0 Block

We are pleased to be able to offer road performance kits & Jaguar race heads for the last true Jaguar engine, the 3.6L XJS, XJ40 and X300.


We can guarantee absolutely to make any AJ6 engined car considerably quicker,
and these have been proven on the dyno.
Eaton compressor cars also benefit from these modifications.
We can offer 2 grades of performance upgrade which we trust will give satisfaction.
One of these is specifically designed to work well with standard engines and needs NO upgrade whatever to either the ECU or head,-only to the filter, air intake system, catalysor (when fitted) and the centre exhaust.

  • 1,- Standard head, no changes except to reinforcement of the gasket clamp load.
    Hi flow air filter and modification to the air intake system.
    Removal AND replacement of Jaguar catalysor system,-repositioning
    Optional, changing of rear system with stainless over axle pipes (Quiet)
    This system was fully tested on the back of our modified engines for the French+German Autoroutes, and gives very good power.
    Proven figure of nearly 240bhp (original 220), 500rpm further up,
    tremendous torque from 1500rpm.
    removal of flat spots before and after 3000rpm.

  • 2,- Performance road head -CR 10.5:1
    This head builds on design with valve shapes,sizes & engine building work.
    A head with a rather more aggressive characteristic, and more noticeable inlet note.
    This can be used in JEC racing to give enhanced performance to nearly 300bhp & is perfectly legal.
    Designed to operate continuously at it's best between 2500-6500rpm.
    Torque everywhere, like DIESEL from 1500rpm.
    Typical characteristic is exceptional torque from very low down with serious grunt from 3500-6000rpm, using the original camshaft.
    If you use this with a standard bottom end it will be completely reliable.
    We suggest rebuilding the engine at the same time and balancing the crankshaft.
    To get optimal performance the engine MUST be blueprinted.

  • 3,- Hi Performance road-race head -CR 11.5:1 EVO engine.
    This head has our specially designed and manufactured larger valves.
    This is a head which has been specially developed after considerable research
    It brings the unit more inline with what modern Duratecs achieve.
    It is DESIGNED to be used with a much more aggressive camshaft and easily tops the 100bhp/L figure.

    We deliberately designed this for the new Kougar 360R which we are making for the 2007 Season.

    This car will be the fastest Kougar made to date (395bhp/880kg).
    We are taking orders for the LHD (detuned) road version NOW in Scandinavia.
    **The road version is still quicker than a Lamborghini Murcialago with 355bhp and such a low weight.
    Building on the experiences with triumph sports engines in the 80s,-
    If you like to be scared, or on pure adrenalin, this is the car for you!
    A true sports engine that picks up from as low as 2500rpm and buries the rev counter at 7000rpm+**


  • Additional notes on the EVO engine.
    Such power has never been achieved before on this engine.
    *This head is illegal in JEC racing and specifically banned in the rules as it gives
    a whopping increase in torque even with standard camshafts.*

    The Evo RACE engine has been designed to operate continuously at it's best between 3500-8500rpm.
    Characteristics are having very good torque everywhere, it can be like a DIESEL from 1500rpm with mild cams, and once the special exhaust is fitted becomes like nothing seen before.

    Typical characteristic is exceptional torque from very low down with serious grunt from 3500-7000rpm, using the modified cams.

    If you use this with a standard bottom end it may be unreliable as the pistons are not strong enough for this level of power.
    When you change to the high lift short duration cams, pockets must be ground in the pistons.

    The engine can only be supplied fully built with or without dry sump.
    Fitting forged pistons, balancing the crankshaft is dependent on capacity.
    We reccomend our 3.4 or 3.8L unit supplied with steel flywheel and AP clutch.
